The Middleburg/Mason-Dixon Line Historical Society will meet at the State Line Ruritan building, located off Route 11 north, at the State Line, PA Community Park. Guest speaker Dr. Kay Ackerman, associate professor of History at Wilson College, will present "The History and Artistry of Beading." Hear of the history and traditions of beading in various cultures - from Egyptian mummies to American Indians. She will display ancient examples as well as her current beading.
