5th Annual Mass Choir Festival. This annual event will again be held in the beautiful sanctuary of First Christian Church (1345 Potomac Avenue) on Sunday, February 24th, 2013 at 5 Pm. and will feature church choirs from the surrounding area. In addition to the impressive musical offerings by the festival choirs, congregation, and instrumentalists, the Mass Choir will present "Called to Peace" by Wayne Wold and "A Hymn to God Creator" by John Ferguson. Called to Peace work was commissioned by the parishioners of First Christian Church on the eve of the passing of our dear Leon Cross. We hope that you will be able to join us for this anthem paying tribute to a wonderful man who helped this regions music programs immensely and to witness the great gifts from some of our local choirs.
