Shippensburg University is “Ship” to those who work, teach, and learn here. It’s SCHOLARSHIP, where student learning is our primary commitment. It’s INTERNSHIP, where students learn first-hand about themselves and their fields of study in work environments. It’s LEADERSHIP, where students are encouraged to step into positions of influence on projects, teams, and in organizations. It’s PARTNERSHIP, where students can join with faculty on research projects. It’s FRIENDSHIP, where the people you meet can turn into lifelong friends.
Our students show their CITIZENSHIP by volunteering more than 20,000 hours of service in the community each year. We welcome you to learn more about Shippensburg University from our students. You’ll find our students’ Ship stories are as individual as they are. We invite you to visit our campus and meet the people who make Ship the friendly place where you can thrive. By choosing Ship, you will experience our commitment to helping you write your own Ship story.
